- Homemade country vegetable soup with crispy golden croutons
- Grilled flat field mushroom topped with melted Goat’s cheese
- Fan of honeydew melon with Parma ham
- Homemade salmon fishcakes with sweet chutney
- Scottish smoked salmon served with chopped onion, lemon pigtail and capers
- Roast saddle of Sussex lamb filled with spinach, apricots
& rosemary, with a Port wine gravy

Pan-fried breast of chicken wrapped in bacon
with a rich tomato Provençal-style sauce
- Steamed fillets of lemon sole on a bed of roasted julienne of peppers
- Courgette, leek and pasta bake bound in a cheese sauce
and topped with golden breadcrumbs

- Slow braised lamb shank cooked in a Port, redcurrant and

All our main courses are served with a variety
of potato dishes, such as crispy roast, sauté
or dauphinoise and a selection of seasonal vegetables.
