The Mulberry at New Wilmington Hotel serves fresh, seasonal cuisine with a strong focus on preparing everything possible on-site.
Our menu changes on a daily basis to ensure guests staying with us for a week long holiday have just as much choice and interest on the last night with us as they did on the first.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and to set you up with the perfect start we have a wide selection of cereals, yoghurts, seeds and fruit as well as croissants, ham, cheese and conserves. Should a bit of indulgence be required then our hearty Full English Breakfast which comes with a vegetarian option will be enough to see you through a busy day sightseeing, with family or on business.
Lunch is served to order in our comfortable bar or lounge area where you can relax with friends or family over a cup of tea, coffee or something from the bar. Chef prepares everything on-site including 100% beef burgers served with chunky chips, meat or cheese sharing platters as well as homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes with a range of fillings are all on offer as well as a selection of light bites.
Dinner is the main event and our Chef and his team work to the same high standards every evening to ensure you enjoy a quality piece of cooking. Popular dishes include ham hock and stilton pie, Sussex saddle of lamb and steamed lemon sole. There is always a vegetarian choice and we will happily prepare someting specific for any guest informing us of a dietary requirement.
The Mulberry also offers an extensive wine list which includes some exceptional reds and whites from around the world including our French Sancerre Saget or the Napa Valley Zinfandel. A holiday would not be a holiday without a cocktail or two so get in the party spirit with a classically made Margarita, a Paradise Martini or be good and order Safe Sex on the Beach or a Virgin Mary.
