The New Wilmington Hotel in Eastbourne is renowned for its traditional Sunday
roast lunches which are popular with non-residents from around Eastbourne and East Sussex.
We serve Sunday lunch every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
We offer a range of delicious starters, three roasts or a variety of other
mains dishes, a vegetarian option and desserts.

Starters:
- Home-made vegetable soup – served with freshly baked roll
- Fresh whole grilled sardine – finished with a pesto dressing
- Bruschetta – continental bread topped with garlic, olive oil and baby vine
tomatoes
- Caribbean cocktail – pineapple & orange soaked in rum
- (Supplement) - Scottish smoked salmon – served traditionally with chopped
onion, lemon pigtail, capers & brown bread & butter
Main courses:
- Roast breast of Gressingham duck with a classic orange & Cointreau sauce
- Roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding
- Roast loin of pork with Bramley apple sauce & crispy crackling
- Breast of chicken stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, wrapped in lightly smoked
bacon
- Grilled fillet of salmon – on a bed of wilted spinach with Hollandaise sauce
- Mushroom stroganoff – cooked in cream & brandy, served with rice ('V')
- (Supplement) - Grilled Sirloin steak, served with chunky
chips, flat field mushroom & grilled tomato, with a choice of peppercorn,
stilton or Hollandaise sauce
Main courses are served with a medley of seasonal vegetables and roast or
new potatoes.
